Challenge
The Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence (CCME) is a non-profit physician-sponsored organization that has worked to improve the quality of healthcare provided to North and South Carolina citizens since 1983. The organization partnered with the North Carolina Heart Disease & Stroke Prevention (HDSP) Program on a public heart health awareness campaign focused on women and heart disease. CCME contracted with Contrast Creative for a third time to create a commercial that educated women about the signs of an impending heart attack in a unique and engaging way.
Result
The spot began airing in North Carolina during February 2013’s American Heart Month and is also available on the “Start With Your Heart” campaign webpage. The end goal is to capture positive feedback and measurable results. With the spot just hitting the airways, the impact is yet to be revealed. But in focus groups prior to its launch, women who viewed the commercial called it, “Informative” and “Very visual.” Another woman said, “It really was a very attractive piece: the colors, the scenery. It got your attention.”
