The Gender Knee

The George Washington University Hospital was the first in the D.C. area to offer the Gender Knee, a knee replacement designed to fit a woman’s body. With a thinner profile, contoured shape, increased flexibility and more natural movement, the knee will help women get back to doing what they enjoy. The knee can be used in either minimally-invasive or traditional surgeries.
