Challenge
Capital Bank, a proud member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and operator of 143 branches throughout the Southeastern United States, wanted to reach out and inform qualified first-time homebuyers about special financing options in addition to the first-time homebuyer tax credit. The bank chose to communicate this information through a 30-second commercial spot, and relied on Contrast Creative to develop a memorable and engaging concept to deliver that message.
Results
Contrast Creative collaborated with ad agency Kelly MarCom, and in just four days scripted a concept, scouted locations, and hired actors – including a rescue retriever named Athena. Completed in a timely manner and on air before the tax credit expired, the spot reminisces about childhood where imagination can run as high as a dirt pile, especially for a young boy with a toy wheel loader. Fast forward in life to a time when a person or young couple is financially able to transform their childhood musings into reality and build the home of their dreams – in partnership with Capital Bank.
