Challenge
As one of the world’s leaders in advanced medical care, the George Washington University (GWU) Hospital surgeons are using minimally invasive procedures with da Vinci Robots to treat prostate, lung, esophageal, cardiac, GYN, colorectal and kidney conditions. The Hospital partnered with Contrast Creative to create a 30-second commercial spot promoting the use, benefits and availability of minimally invasive surgeries using the Hospital’s da Vinci Robots.
Results
The commercial, an integral part of the expansive public relations campaign promoting GWU Hospital as the region’s premier robotic surgical center, aired in the DC marketplace and garnered compelling measurable results. GWU Hospital’s robotic procedures were up 21% in the second quarter after the spot first aired.
