Custom music scores are an important element to the creation of film and video productions.
Every four minutes an American dies from a stroke. May is Stroke Awareness Month. Contrast Creative’s new Stroke PSA is on the air now. It was thoughtfully crafted to educate women and men about the signs and symptoms of a stroke and encourage them to act fast by calling 9-1-1. Entitled “I’m Fine,” the commercial features a woman experiencing a stroke, yet she ignores every warning sign assuring everyone around her “I’m fine.” This spot is the fourth in a series of award winning heart disease and stroke prevention commercials created for the Carolinas Center or Medical Excellence (CCME) and the NC Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention Program. Each spot has been carefully and uniquely constructed to share the prevention message in an engaging, memorableand effective way. The copy and visual imagery is vital to the success of each commercial along with another key ingredient–the music.
Each spot in the series is elevated by a custom music score created by our long-term trusted partner Rob Pottorf, owner of Rob Pottorf Music (RPM). Rob is an accomplished music composer for TV and film. Some of his clients (besides Contrast Creative) include Disney, 20th Century Fox and Paramount to name a select few.
We invite you to go behind-the-scenes with Rob Pottorf in Part I of his two part music composition series. Get an insider’s view of Rob’s musical composition process as he composes Contrast Creative’s latest Stroke PSA entitled “I’m Fine,” which was produced for The Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence and the North Carolina Heart Disease & Stroke Prevention Program (HDSP).
